December 2024: Bamse of Sweden’s Featured Tracks

Yes, it is Christmas time, but that doesn’t stop us from continuing to produce. Just recently, two songs were released in support of ”Bamse of Sweden”, with plans to get them onto Spotify by Friday – though that might be easier said than done.

The first track, ”Mayor Bamse of Sweden”, was created a few weeks ago using an AI-generated voice from Udio and was initially intended as a fun joke. This came about after Bamse joked that he should become the mayor of ”Klippans Kommun”. Taking that idea, a song was written with lyrics improvised by ChatGPT. The rest – the melody and beat – was crafted in a DAW. In the initial version, it was pure reggare, but it was transformed into more reggae/jungle inspired beats.

The second song takes on a much more serious tone. It was inspired by the desire to create something more in the ”epa-dunk” style than the previous track, ”Who’s Not Allowed Into Klippans Kommun?”. After piecing together a collection of old samples, the beats finally came together, and with Bamse’s approval, ”Stella – Tilde” was released. However, on Spotify, it will be titled ”Stella och Tilde” due to SoundCloud’s rules that would otherwise block us from distributing it.

The song itself is based on a pun Bamse once made – if you have kids and they’re two girls, you could name them ”Stella” and ”Tilde”… Well, you’ll just have to listen to it yourselves!
